Synopsis

In 17th-century West Africa, young Prince Atanda is betrayed by his uncle, who kills his father with help from British soldiers and sells Atanda into slavery to seize the throne of Ile Wura. Sent to a brutal Jamaican plantation, Atanda endures harsh conditions under a cruel master and finds forbidden love with Adunni, a defiant house slave. When Adunni is accused of witchcraft
in a jealous scheme, the plantation descends into chaos. Drawn into the rebellion of the Maroons, escaped slaves led by a mystical priestess. Atanda must face his past and embrace a destiny that could change everything.
